Real Articles of Discovery!

BioScience Library

We went to Berkeley's Biosciences Library. It is one of the best libraries in the world for biology.
 First the librarian told us about all the different types of journals and books in the library. You can look up where to find everything on the computers.
Each group found an article on their type of locomotion. It was kind of like a treasure hunt. We really got to see where the new discoveries come from. We learned that nothing new is found in encyclopedias. It's all in these journals.  

We then studied the article to find information about our animals.

The librarian showed us the moving bookshelves and that was really fun.
