I am an undergraduate majoring in Bioengineering with a minor in EECS. Ever since high school, I have engendered a passion for robotics and biomimetics, which encompasses many different fields from the core sciences such as biology and physics to more applied fields such as electrical and mechanical engineering. I have previously worked on studying the mechanics of running lizards in granular media. More recently I have become interested in topics such as artificial muscle, gecko adhesives, and the locomotion of hexapod robots modeled on a the extremely stable cockroach gait.
