Funding

Funding comes from a variety of sources. Students generally apply for a National Science Foundation, Hughes or ONR Pre-Doctoral Fellowship. University fellowships are available on a competitive basis. The Poly-PEDAL laboratory's grants can often support students from 1 to 3 years. If no other funds are available, then teaching stipends have always been attainable in the past. Each student is required to teach for 2 semesters.
